So behind!

Okay so I know that I am really behind on the whole blogging thing. I just can't keep up. I kept telling myself I would start updating from where I left off and I just got overwhelmed. So I am just going to start now and do a better job going forward, deal????

We took the boys to their first Astros game last Sunday....it was a blast! We went with Nina and Pop Pop, Uncle BooBoo (Tanner), Uncle Don and Aunt Marsha, Garrett and Gatlin. Of course as I had predicted the boys did exactly what I thought they would. Braden loved every single minute of the noise and people, all of the action was perfect for him. Brody on the other hand was a little more timid. He was kind of freaked out by it all. He clung very tight to me for the first hour. Once he finally got comfortable something exciting would happen and it would get LOUD, so we would start back at square one. Overall it was perfect!

After the game we stopped at one of my favorite places....where else....STEEL CITY PIZZA of course. They were having a Steeler kick off party with loud music, fun Steeler trivia and a pizza eating contest. I talked Michael into doing the contest, even though we had just eaten. It was hilarious! No he didn't win but we know what to do next year! I have it all figured out...sorry can't tell you my secret ;). Braden and Brody ate good food (thanks DJ) and played lots of video games and Brody did a super job of dancing to the music. I couldn't get my phone to video it but man was it cute!

And the below picture I just received as I am writing this post so I will add in. Every Friday at daycare is Sucker day. When the kids leave there is a bowl at the front desk and they get to grab one. Up until maybe a month ago we just walked right by it and the boys never even knew the difference. All it took was one Friday for Daddy to pick them up and they were ruined. Now they look for the bowl EVERYDAY! They are too funny.

KAYLEIGH ANNE FREEMAN

As most of you know this precious little girl and her family have made such an impact on my life! They are by far the strongest, most faithful, and inspirational family I have had the privilege of getting to know (even if only by my blog family). I am not sure how I even came across this blog last year but I did and I have been so blessed by it! I have grown so much stronger in my faith and have learned so many things from them that I will never be able to repay them for! They shared so much with complete strangers that so many people would never have been able to do. As I sit here praising this family with tears in my eyes, I must say that Kayleigh entered the gates of heaven last night! As sad as it is for us here on Earth, she is so happy I just know it! She is dancing and playing and has wings of her very own now to watch over Adam, Aimee, Brandon and Allison. I pray for this family today, not having a clue how they must be feeling, and that as a mother I never do, but that they find comfort in knowing their little girl is no longer suffering.

MY HEART IS SO HEAVY

I just wanted throw out a quick post to ask for more prayers for the Freeman Family. It seems as though Kayleigh has taken another turn for the worse and they need each and every one of us to pray fervently for them. I am saddened by the latest post and I just know the dr's are wrong. THEY HAVE TO BE! Kayleigh has turned things around so many times and I am hoping this will be another to add to her collection. Please take a moment to pray for them and read their story. This is one amazing family!!!!!!!

FIRST HAIRCUTS!

I finally had enough of the curls and trying to control them every morning was a nightmare. The boys were so good while getting their hair cut. I was shocked!
